World’s biggest PAC-MAN

worlds_biggest_pacman_1.jpg

Ever get bored of the same old PAC-MAN playing field? No, me neither. But if you wanted to work your way round a maze created by some random crazy, or create your own, check out The World’s Biggest PAC-MAN.

Currently there have been over 27,000 mazes created and said mazes have been played over 7 million times. Incase you were wondering, around 760 million dots have been eaten.

To be fair though, there are some silly mazes, but in contrast, some people have put a lot of time and effort in to create some good things. Though probably very unplayable.

Fantastic Contraption… get me away from this thing!

This thing has been both driving me mad and keeping me sane for the past couple of days (and counting). As the name would suggest, you have to build a contraption to perform a (relatively) simple task using a handful of different components. Sounds easy huh?

You can also save a link to your solutions and replay them to make yourself feel better during the more difficult later levels… or show them off to your mates after they’ve pulled their hair out.

Here’s my favourite invention

Browser game: Totem destroyer

This one is a great way of spending what should take 15-20 minutes… in your lunch break of course! 25 levels.
You have to destroy the number of blocks displayed in the top right without destroying the little totem fella… reminiscent of the idol Indy exchanges for a bag of sand.

Game of the week… Killawatt

Carrying on with the uninspiringly-named game-of-the-week, this week brings Killawatt. The concept is simple; stack as many speakers onto the back of the rasta truck as you can within 3 minutes. Though you’re usually done before then as you lose a life when one hits the floor. Break 5 and it’s over. Accompanied by some reggae beats (also downloadable by the way) this viral marketing game is a lot of fun. As long as it’s advertising something good, there’s no problem… right?

Oshidama

When you are at work, craving for the tactile gameplay of your wii, this one’s for you. It’s a point-and-push style game with aesthetically-pleasing visuals. It will also save your current achievements until your next installment.

It has a mellow drum & bass / piano synth track playing throughout, which fits in nicely.
