Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface

We couldn’t help but swoon over the awesome technology in Microsoft’s Surface multitouch table. The only issue was the physical restrictions put on it by the required internal cameras.

Well, this has all changed now and Samsung are apparently ready to roll out the SUR40, which will replace the existing system. It’s multi-touch is now a proper touchscreen and supports 50 points of contact.

The display will be shipping out at $8,400 ($9,049 with legs). This is for a 40″ full HD screen, sealed against water and resistant to shock. It’s all running on an Athlon X2 245e CPU, with 320GB of storage and Radeon video card.

So, how do we get our hands on one?

The new Dual arcade table – Head-to-head gaming

Some of you may have seen this, or even had a play on it last year at Replay in Blackpool. Well, it’s now officially released!

Based around the 60-in-1 arcade board, this baby is our entry-level system in our arcade table range. It is equally as well designed, built and finished as our other arcade tables but uses a dedicated arcade PCB rather than a PC system. So you just plug it in, turn it on and you’re away. Available in Walnut only.

Take a look at the specs and games list on our website and view more photos.

Bowling for babes

Nothing will ever replace the joy of visiting your local bowling alley and draining a couple cold ones with a few bros.  You get drunk, hit on women, pee on the seat and fall face down in an alley for a good night’s rest.  Or if you keep your wits about you, which is another way to say “don’t get wasted”, you’ll probably find a beautiful babe to take home.  But alas, you’ll still need to seal the proverbial deal once you’re back at the pad.  What’s a fine gent like yourself to do?  Show off your bowling skills using this 8-foot Tavern Bowling game, but of course.

It’s based on the original Shuffle Alley game, which apparently was popularized in the 1950s.  Abstaining from a double vision (hopefully beer goggles as well) is the first objective.  Next objective, slide the chromed steel puck down the game’s waxed formica lane to strike ten 10 1/4″-tall pins.  You can choose from a variety of bowling games – there is even one that dims the lights for blind bowling.   A 27-inch LCD with a 1600×900 resolution keeps tabs on the score, while commentary from PBA Champion Parker Bohn III blasts over the two 30-watt and one 100-watt speaker.

If you have nearly £4000 to spare and would like to kit out your mancave with a home bowling table head to Hammacher Schlemmer and place your order.

Topped with a patented Vitrik playing surface that plays just like baize, the award-winning G-1 is clearly revolutionary. We’re talking premium quality 15mm Monolithic Float glass with exposed polished edges, a lightweight skeletal frame with fully-visable ball-return mechanism, BCA-spec pockets and K-66 bumpers. No, we’re not entirely sure what all that means but the G-1 looks awesome and plays like a dream.

To learn more about this amazing pool table go to Nottage Design and you can pre-order it from firebox for a cool £34,999.

A game of billards before dinner anyone?

Unless you’ve got a mansion you’re probably not gonna be able to fit in both a dining room table and a billiard table.  That is unless of course you throw down what is probably some serious cash for one of Koralturk’s tables.

Unlike standard billiards tables these convert to an everyday table and boast opulent finishes that seamlessly blend into any dining or living room. What a perfect way to compliment your surface tension coffee table.

We like the more subtle pure white version pictured below:

But for those of you that prefer a bit of bling they also make a Luxury Gold version which has been covered in real gold leaf. We understand that other finishes are also available and prices start from £3495.

Ultimate bling football table
