My new favourite key holder

I don’t think I ever had an old favourite, but if I did, this is the new one. As soon as I’ve raided my Mother’s loft for my old lego, I’m going to be on this.

There’s got to be a more elegant way that picture hooks and cable ties, but it’s essentially getting a lego block onto your keyring.

Then all you need to do is get a lego field/sheet/grass whatever you call it and get it up on your wall, ideally right by your door so you don’t have the opportunity to put your keys elsewhere and thus lose track of them.

Musical Rumba series coffee table

musical_rumba_table_2.jpgNow this is what I call an interactive table! Created by Tor Clausen, you can choose from a range of sizes, starting at 2×2 going up to 4×4. The table incorporates various bongos, percussion, bells and whistles ensuring there is never a dull moment when you have friends over. However, once the children find out, there may be a few regrets…

Not essential for your bible-studies group. You can see and hear the table in action at musical furnishings.

Sandbox PC / Zen creating tactile human interface

In the world of touchy-feely things, this appeared in my blog inbox. It is all at a conceptual stage right now, but it (conceptually) runs on it’s ‘sandbox PC’ hardware and Zen operating system.

Screw table

On all things table, these are great-looking surfaces… well maybe for the nerdy types like myself.

chip & pin tetris

Security researchers (and so it appears fans of the movie War Games) at the University of Cambridge have been tampering with a chip & pin terminal in the interests of science.

tetris_pound.jpgIt’s interesting to note that “…perfect tamper resistance only ensures that the terminal will no longer be able to communicate with the bank once opened. It does not prevent anyone from replacing most of the terminal’s hardware and presenting it to customers as legitimate, so freeley collecting card details and PINs”.

Take a look…
