Sven Stornebel Storage Cube

Well, they aren’t all strictly cuboid. They are storage units though and look like they can be used for seating too (like our Rubik’s Cube).

From what I gather, the Farbkasten is “just a box with colour glue” says the modest designer. Simple, effective and very cool!

The Coolest Gaming Station, Ever.

The MWE Emperor 200 may be labelled a “workstation”, but surely that would be a waste of its true gaming potential. This should not be for work, this should be for play.

The chances are your humble work desk and chair setup does not have an “ergonomic leather seating unit”, three touch-screen monitors (each a 24″ LED display), motorised screen and chair adjustments, LED lighting and THX surround sound system. It even has an air filtration system, supposedly in case you smoke. Or just don’t smell so good.

At that price it’s aimed squarely at the ultra-rich (it goes for £28,900), but the rest of us can dream, right?

The new Rubik’s Cube seat from surface tension

We’ve been extremely busy lately. We haven’t eaten, we haven’t slept, and none of our friends have seen us in months!

We’re now pleased to announce the launch of three new products. As with all other surface tension products, they are all produced in the UK.

First up is the Rubik’s Cube seat, which is also a table and a storage unit. Made from MDF, sprayed to a fine black finish and stickered with pantone-matched colours to give a real authentic over-sized feel… measuring 45cm³.
These are currently in manufacture and are available now for pre-order for Christmas delivery in the UK, Eire and Channel Islands only.

Open it up and discreetly store all your junk before your friends come over.

Available now to pre-order for £199 from surface tension.

Tabletto Minimalist seating

I’m a huge fan of clean lines and minimalism in the home. That said, I’m not the tidiest person, so you won’t find any such thing in mine!

The Tabletto is a creation from the Belgian designer, Pascale De Backer, to make people concious of the use of medicines in society, as well as making some interesting seating. He also has a couple of smaller seats in the shape of ecstasy pills… and for the same reason.
